4WD pulled from Auckland beach after being stuck there for 3 months

A four-wheel drive has been freed from its watery prison after being stuck at a beach for three months.
Locals and tractors had tried and failed since New Years Eve to get the blue Mitsubishi off Waiau Pa beach, on the shores of Auckland's Manukau Harbour.
The Manukau 4WD Club said it took two trucks, along with some manpower, to rescue the waterlogged vehicle.
