More information needed on unmodified 4WD suspensions

February 05, 2016

Clubs and associations are asked to gather information on standard vehicle suspension arm, panhard rod and steering arm angles to be assessed to see if there can be a simple maximum angle that can be used as a guide for suspension and steering requirements.

Information required would be

Vehicle Year, Make and Model, Chassis prefix, Front Suspension arm angle, Rear suspension arm angle, Front Panhard angle, Rear Panhard angle and Steering drag link angles.

A form is attached to fill out, with a guide to where to measure. The forms should be returned to LVVTA to the attention of Ken McAdam.
