Tararua Winch Challenge

Hosted by the Tararua 4WD Club at Turakina, starting at 9am on Saturday with two night stages that night and will finish at around midday on Sunday. There will be 3 Classes (Club, Challenge and Modified) and the classification will be based on a combination of 4x4 Challenges NZ Inc rules and Mainland Winch Challenge rules to encourage SI entrants. The Event rules will be based upon the 4x4 Challenges NZ Inc rules. The event will be limited to 20 entrants at this stage and will not be open to the public. The intention is to make scrutineering largely self-monitored as used in Rally NZ and WRC with a check list issued with the entry form and then full scrutineering done on a small random selection of vehicles. The Stratford District Council requests that 4x4 Clubs abstain from using the old Whangamomona Road between 1 May & 1 October, to limit the damage being done to the Road during the wetter months of winter.

Final Round of the CZCTC for 2016/2017 The will be a two-day event starting on Saturday and finishing on Sunday. Camping is available onsite near the Shearer’s Quarters. Please bring along everything you may need for camping; a toilet is available onsite. For other accommodation, closest town is Taihape. A BBQ will be held on Saturday night. Dave Hintz will be providing the meat, please bring along salads, sides and deserts to go with.

Manawatu Club are fundraising for one of their members dance groups with a public run. STARTING 8AM. SCOTTS FERRY, BULLS Cost: $80 per truck, driver and 1 passenger. $5 extra adult. Under 13 free Drive includes: Beach driving, Sand dunes, Farm tour, Purpose set courses (Competition style). BBQ Lunch provided. Please provide your own snacks and drinks. Vehicles must have selectable Low Range or Equivalent. LIMITED TO 50 TRUCKS.
