Sad News

Farewell to one of our organisers from Desert Defenders, Craig Mott passed away on 1 Oct. Craig was a great guy and nothing was too much trouble for him. He organised the Waiouru round and competed in a few other rounds as well. Thanks for everything Craig.

The season so far

Three rounds of the Club Truck Challenge (CTC) have been held since September in Turakina, Taranaki and Orongorongo, thanks to the Manawatu, Mt Egmont and Wellington Jeep clubs who put them on. So at this point in the season we have an points table for the overall position that looks like this;

2018 Dates

Round 4
Ohakune – hosted by the Desert Defenders – 24th & 25th of February.

This is a 2 day event, beginning on the Saturday noon & finishing Sunday at noon. Camping at the site. Site is not far from Ohakune or Waiouru for those not into camping.


Round 5
Palmerston North – 17 March 2018.
This is the round that needs to be confirmed

Round 6
Wairarapa – hosted by the Wairarapa 4x4 Club - 7 April 2018.
Info for this this round will be uploaded as soon as it becomes available.

The final round was run last weekend at the RivenRock Mountain Bike Park just outside Masterton.
