Good start to the season at Wairarapa. Very wet surface conditions made the hazards change a lot as drivers went through them.

1. Marty Green
2. Ash Senior
3. Ross Gregory

Round 2 will be in Opunake on Oct 29, camping available.

The series website has changed, you need to resubscribe to the new one to continue to receive notices.

Hi everyone

Just been informed that the website at has now been transferred to a new platform which is and the old site deleted. to get notices you need to re-subscribe to this website. Just go to the site and on the home page it has notices. Just to the right of this is “email me notices”. enter your email address there and when I load a notice it will automatically be sent to you just like the old sportsground site.

Will be sending the first notice this weekend so if you subscribe before this you will get it.

Please pass this onto anyone you think might be interested in getting the notices and/or put it in your club newsletters

Round 2 Opunake

Mark Watchorn wrote;

"Another successful round was held in Taranaki on Saturday 29th October. Thanks Alan & Shona for all your hard work. What I've been told is that it was a great event with 16 competitors enjoying the day. The majority having made the trip from other areas. Marty Green won his class and overall – well done. The pressure will be on to see if he can do the same at the event he is hosting."

1st Marty Green
2nd Dave McGinnity
3rd Graeme Goble

Latest dates from Mark .

Hi Everyone

Another year has rolled round so Happy New Year - although the first month has already gone and people are itching to get back into it.
We are lucky this year to be having 6 rounds instead of 5 rounds. With 3 down we have 3 to go so plenty of time for those who want to compete for series honours to get 3 rounds (out of 6) in the bag to qualify - remember it's the best 3 rounds so you can drop one or two. Have put the class & overall results as at the end of round 3 if you are curious.
Round 4 is on 25th & 26th February at Ohakune on the same property on Whangaehu Valley Road as previous years. Info & registration sheets are on the website.
Once againe due to the travel times it's going to be over 2 days starting about 1pm ish on Saturday 25th February and concluding on the Sunday morning. Camping is available at the site (for those who have been there before - by the barn where we park our trailers etc), a port a loo will be available but bring your own water and food. A BBQ is being planned for the Saturday night. The Sunday portion should be finished about midday so plenty of time to drive home.
If you don't want to camp at the site, accommodation can be found at Ohakune or Waiouru. Just remember that the cops do patrol this area quite vigoursly so allow plenty of time to get to the site (especially Sunday morning). Also it pays to ensure at all 4 wheels are attached to your vehicle before getting to site.
Craig Mott is quite ill so I am taking registrations for this event.
Round 5 is on Saturday 18th March 2017 at a property near Woodville - hosted by the Manawatu Club. Info & registrations forms will be on the website when I get them. The Manawatu Club are holding their club champs on the same property the following day (Sunday) and will probably use a lot of the same obstacles, and have extended an invitation to any of you to take part if you wish. Practice Saturday and hopefully do better Sunday – could be fun.
Round 6 is in May 2017 and is going to be hosted by the Wanganui Club - more info when I get it
all should be great events so mark your calendars now.

Don't forget if you need to contact me email address is
